Artificial Intelligence software designed to augment technician processes during scope inspection. Working together with Flexible Inspection Scopes to provide standardized process for detecting visual anomalies within a scope’s working channel. The software assists the technicians during the post-cleaning process by identifying anomalies within the working channel, such as scratches, crimps, stains, and moisture droplets. This data is collected and reported to help SPD managers determine cleanliness and maintenance requirements for endoscopes prior to patient usage. WatchDog provides an enhanced video feed and still photo capability that captures the inspection of the working channel and creates a standardized, easily trainable process for technicians to consistently review and identify working channel anomalies. This sameness allows for better and consistent processes regardless of whether it is the first or the 100th scope processed. The software also provides a time-neutral enhancement to the normal scope inspection process, allowing technicians to perform the same task within the same amount of time while the AI identifies anomalies and generates a report of each inspection.
